This old traditional house is quietly situated near the parish Church in the centre of Bad Aussee, only a few minutes´ walk to the spa-centre and indoor-brine -swimming pool.

Forerunners of todays´ guests in this well known and popular Styrian holiday-resort were the Romans. We are reminded of this by an old Roman stone, which is to be seen in the rounded vaults of the entrance hall. The house itself was first mentioned in the 14th century.

At first we get the impression that time seems to have stood still: mighty vaults, broad halls and passages and valuable Antiques give the house its special flair.

The public rooms, bedrooms and the wonderful garden all contribute to the idyllic atmosphere which famous personalities have always loves and appreciated.

This family business offers 25 beds with WC, shower, TV, safe and telephone.

Friends of culinary pleasures will enjoy the cultivated cuisine, which has the award "Good Styrian Restaurant" and which offers many Austrian and International Specialities. The personal service everywhere in the hotel guarantees a really pleasant stay.

From where, whether you like gentle walks or mountainhikes, you have numerous possibilities to explore the surrounding mountains and lakes in spring, summer autumn. - You should visit Bad Aussee in winter too, because it is well known for its abundant snow. There are wonderful alpine ski-ing slopes and cross-country tracks, also many winter paths and frozen lakes for skaters.

There is so much to discover!
But the only thing you have to do to be able to enjoy all this, is to spend your holidays with us.
